The Borough of Paramus and the Board of Education SnapSports, in concert with Superior Play Systems, have recently completed a volleyball and tennis court at East Brook Middle School, with the great team at the Borough of Paramus’s Parks and Recreation and Public Works Department.

At approximately 5:30 a.m., Officer Matthew DeBonis observed a red Toyota make a left turn from Passaic Street onto Linden Street in Hackensack. Officer DeBonis noticed the driver make this turn at a high rate of speed, causing the tires to screech and the vehicle to drift, almost striking the curb.

Changed from Tuesday evening to Wednesday evening for the summer months, the members of the Council were available to visit the Terrific Tuesdays at the Paramus Bandshell. This led to a more relaxed atmosphere and an interesting public meeting. Veterans were hailed as great reminders of the people who have served our country in the armed forces. Veteran Officer Sam Casiello was lauded for his selection of military equipment and personnel who took part in the 4th of July Parade.

Funds will go toward the installation of synthetic turf soccer field at East Brook Middle School
(PARAMUS) - The Borough of Paramus is proud to announce it has been awarded approximately $62,370 in grant funding, through the U.S. Soccer Foundation, which will be allocated towards the installation of a synthetic turf soccer field at the East Brook Middle School. The Borough of Paramus is one step closer to achieving its goal of adding an additional synthetic turf field to its open space inventory as a result of receiving this grant award. Officially notified in May 2014, Paramus is one of ten municipalities in the United States to receive a grant through the U.S. Soccer Foundation’s 2014 Safe Places to Play Grant Program.
