Rotary Charity Fashion Show A Combined Effort Success At Bergen Community College

Rotary Charity Fashion Show

Paramus Sunrise Rotary Club partnered with the Bergen Community College Rotary Club to produce the 4th Sunrise Fashion Show. It required a tremendous effort on both clubs to cohere the two groups and make the charity fundraiser a success. As stated by Rotarians Mukesh Malkan and Sherry Wilson, one club supplied the power and the other club supplied the manpower. The joint effort produced a tremendous fashion show and great food.

Mayor and Council Meeting 5-15-2012 The Mayor and Council seem to be getting into the regular routine of tending to the business of Paramus. There was a serious attempt to start the meeting on time and even with recognition of the champion Paramus High School hockey champs who had gone to see the Devils play during the last meeting when awards were being handed out, the meeting ended by 9:20.

St. Joseph’s Healthcare System (SJHS) recently celebrated the superior healthcare services provided by the team of nurses at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center (SJRMC)/St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital (SJCH) in Paterson, St. Joseph’s Wayne Hospital (SJWH), a division of SJRMC, in Wayne, and St. Vincent’s Nursing Home (SVNH), in Cedar Grove. Maria Brennan, MSN, RN, CPHQ, Chief Nursing Officer, SJHS, and Vice President, Patient Care Services, SJRMC (third from right) presented the 2012 Nursing Excellence Award to 6 nurses selected by their peers. Findings Come at the Start of a Summer Travel Season In Which High Pump Prices Could Add to Nearby Refuges’ Allure. An overwhelming percentage of surveyed visitors to national wildlife refuges in 2010 and 2011 were favorably impressed with the recreational opportunities, education and services on these public lands, according to a national survey released today. Some 90 percent of respondents gave consistent high marks to all facets of their refuge experience.

Credit Card Fraud/Wrongful Impersonation At Best Buy In Paramus

On 5/15/2012 at 3:20pm, Officer Jack Cacamis responded to Best Buy at the Garden State Plaza in reference to a report of credit card fraud in progress. Upon arrival, Officer Cacamis was informed by store associates that an individual was attempting to make purchases in the amount of $450, with what they believed to be a fraudulent credit card. The suspect, identified as 29 year old Guido A Pion De Leon of the Bronx NY, was stopped by Officer Cacamis. He was found to be in possession of two fraudulent Connecticut Driver’s Licenses, a fraudulent Master Card, a fraudulent NJ Driver’s License, and two fraudulent Visa Cards.

Resplendent in specially fitted uniforms, they were the epitome of Paramus.They were honored by NAPO (National Association Of Police Officers). Escorting them was Paramus Police Chief Chrisopher Brock.

Two people that Paramus can be proud of! Their visit to DC was highlighted by a tour of the Rose Garden and meeting and posing with President Barack Obama.
