Lindt Chocolate
What is a Lindt, one might ask? Why has it come to the Bergen Town Center? Who are they? All poignant questions for the average shopper. A word of caution, Chocoholics beware. For that matter, the average shopper had better beware, One taste of Lindt chocolates will convert this average shopper. For easy access, their new store is located back to back with Bobby's Burger Palace. Two great places in my humble estimation.
Lindt Chocolate at Bergen Town Center Arriving just before the ribbon cutting ceremony, I was fortunate to meet Bassam Mhich, the General Manager of the Bergen Town Center. An old friend, we chatted for a few minutes before he introduced me to Terry, the Bergen Town Center's new Merchandise Manager. Fred Rohdieck, Paramus Chamber of Commerce President and Joseph Pedone, Clamber Chairman arrived shortly thereafter as did Sophie Stone, www.ParamusPost.com co-publisher.
Allison Lemieux, Lindt & Sprüngli Retail Marketing Specialist, came out to greet us as did several people from their headquarters in Stratham, New Hampshire. In turn, they introduced me to Bill, the manager of the store, who came up from Florida to oversee this sweet store operation. Bill offered me a cup of coffee or hot chocolate and did the same for Sophie who declined; she was already savoring a latté from their mini coffee bar.
Now remember my comment about being beware? Well, I had a choice of Lindt's 3.5 oz. bar of dark 50% cocoa, their white coconut or their extra creamy bar of chocolate. I chose the dark 50%, carefully opened the sealed foil and broke off a piece. That tasted delicious so I repeated the action and repeated again. Get the picture? I have only one small piece left! Can you see that remaining too long?
