Comedy Night Fund Raiser The first thing that attendees saw were three pretty ladies waiting to check them in. Doing their duty at the entry table were Maryann Siniscalchi, Kathy Rinaldi and Mary Lou Baldonado. Not only did they take in the tickets, but they graciously pointed out and at times escorted the guests to their table.
Since it was a BYOB/BYOF, people were carrying in platters of food, a gourmet’s delight. Shrimp cocktails, cheese platters, finger meats, sandwiches, hot platters, wine, beer, soda and water were seen all over the area. Guests could go over to a bucket and get ice if they needed it.

Chairman Rich Siniscalchi stated that if this, their first endeavor, was a success, they would plan to have more fund raisers and continue the Comedy Night. Well Rich, I would consider the approximate 300 people there a roaring success, literally. He introduced his committee and also had Kathy Rinaldi introduce the comedians. Her blonde hair and striking outfit drew wolf whistles from the audience.

To the surprise of many. Renee Tedesco was there. Renee is recovering from an illness and has had many get well prayers said in her name. Gauging from her reactions and that of her husband, the mayor, they enjoyed the comedy set forth. Of course, being the mayor and sitting up front, no mercy was shown our popular mayor. He was the butt of many a joke.

Watch for further announcements from the 4th of July Committee who staged this night. They still plan for the traditional Police Fire softball game, a Block Party, the Paramus orchestra, Spectacular Fireworks and of course our 4th of July Parade.
