The Comfort Inn on Rte 17
As I entered the automatic doors of the Comfort Inn on Rte 17 South, I asked the pretty receptionist for Fernando.  "He's not in." she replied. Swallowing a gasp (the weather was boiling hot), I mentioned that I had an appointment with him. She immediately got on the phone and then assured me that it was no problem, Sean would be out in a few minutes. I was assured that he would be able to help, that Fernando had called in sick.

Sean Charnow came out and introduced himself, invited me into his office and proceeded to supply me with the data needed. He was quite capable as befitting a General Manager. We covered a lot of information about the newly renovated Comfort Inn. The Inn did not just receive a new facade, it was completely renovated to the tune of four million dollars. People would no longer recognize the former Red Carpet Inn.

The inside of the motel was completely gutted to the bare walls and floors. It was then redesigned and refurbished. An example of this is when one walks in. Instead of a closed display room, there is open space where a full buffet breakfast is available to their guests. An elevator is nearby to accommodate a wheelchair taking the occupant down to the lower breakfast area. For breakfast, the Inn offers juices, hot and cold cereals, several types of eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, toast and of course an assortment of coffee and tea. Sean is so proud of this breakfast that he is offering a free breakfast for two to our readers. (See details below)

When asked about the capacity, I learned that they offer 76 units which include 14 one and two Room Comfort Suites, King and Double Queen size beds and seven whirlpool rooms. They offer 4 HBO TV channels, 4 ESPN and AMC among the 48 available channels. Thomasville furniture , micro fridges, Sealy mattresses, iron and ironing board, full length mirrors, free high speed Internet access, free WiFi in all areas plus high speed Internet, lobby computer stations, a Fitness Center and Red Lobster access within the building are among the amenities. Photo art is prevalent along the walls.

We are offering "More bang for the buck." declared this affable general manager. We have guest comfort plans, ADA compliance and offer free USA Today. For more information access their website www.comfortinnparamus.com

As mentioned, Sean is so proud of this facility that he will offer a free breakfast for two to our readers for the month of August. All you have to do is print out this article and bring it in before 9:30 in the morning.
