Office Depot Donates
On Wednesday, August 16th, a group of distinguished guests arrived at Office Depot (not to be confused with Home Depot) at 407 Route 17 North to meet with executives from the store and company.
Tom Shea, District Manager and Richard Rasp, Store Manager, assembled dignitaries from the area to give to them 3,000 backpacks, courtesy of Office Depot.
Mayor Tedesco was unable to attend, but had the foresight to send 3
lovely ladies to represent Paramus. They were Janet Luckow Director of
Human Services, Councilwoman Concetta ‘Connie’ Wagner and Flo Pappas,
Secretary to the Mayor.

• Marie Quinn, National PTA Council of States At-Large Member, Bergen County PTA Field Service Chairman

• Ellen Silberman, Chair Supplies for Success a project of Synagogue Leadership Initiative UJANNJ
• Nickie Falk, Consultant Synagogue Leadership Initiative at UJANNJ
• Gael Burman, Administrator, Synagogue Leadership Initiative UJANNJ
• Jeff Katz, Consultant, Bonim Builders, a project of the Synagogue Leadership Initiative UJANNJ
• Natalie Cureton, Mt. Calvary Baptist Church
• Debra K. Hall, Vice Chair, Mt. Calvary Baptist Church
• Dr. Aaron Graham, Superintendent, Bergen County School District
• Ali Sipos, Curriculum Supervisor, Garfield School District
• Elliot Rudolph, President of Rudi’s Pottery, and on the board of Helping People Help Themselves, came over to pick up the backpacks for that organization..
Tom Shea was quite witty in his remarks to the assemblage and made sure that everyone was recognized. Since the inception of the program, Office Depot has donated more than one million backpacks across the nation.
