We would like to invite www.ParamusPost.com to our Grand Opening on Wednesday, 8/23/06 at 10 AM was the request we received. Eager to cover news in Paramus, we agreed! However, it is a little confusing. After locating the 315 Rte 17 S location near Einstein Moomjy, there were two doors to enter. Naturally I picked the wrong one!
I asked for Deon Young, the manager, and he promptly came out. Deon and I had a nice chat and he proudly showed some of his massive equipment.
One of his machines, a Vutek, is capable of producing signs up to 10 feet wide on a flat surface. When I asked about the length, Deon told me that it could go on indefinitely. WOW, they could make a sign that could traverse the length of Route 17 in Paramus and probably further. Of course it would take a lot of reading! He pointed out that they also have a smaller machine that only goes to five feet wide.
Interestingly, they can make these signs on plastic, vinyl, aluminum, ceiling tiles and wood, just to name a few. Magnetic signs .. no problem! They even had a car door to illustrate that. Advice is just a visit away for your project. There is also a beautifully illustrated brochure to help you make your decision.
Alex Cornwell, Deon’s District Manager, was there and told me that he covers New Jersey and Westchester territory and is there at least once a week to make sure that everything is running smoothly. The lovely Tracy Alexander, Senior Product Manager, came all the way from Dallas, Texas to attend the Grand Opening.
They were all on hand when Dr. Janice Dime, Superintendent of the Paramus School District, came by. She was presented with a $1000.00 gift services check from the group. Not only will Dr. Dime put it to good use, but she also pitched them for participation in Rotary Career Day where she looks to place students for the day to get a first hand view of a potential career choice.
Drop by FedEx Kinko’s, 315 Rt 17 S, just past P. C. Richards and get a first hand view of their talents. You can also ship packages via FedEx using the door to the left.
