Scott Garrett appears in Paramus

Scott Garrett at Dr. Yeun's Scott Garrett arrived at Dr. Michael Yeun’s home this afternoon for a house party. The weather was in his favor so it was moved outside to the back lawn, rather than the living room.. Chairs and tables were quickly moved along with the scrumptious buffet that was prepared. 

Host Yeun started everything off with a violin offering by Linya Su, a friend., Hasbrouck Heights resident. and a violin virtuoso. She started playing at the age of 7 in Taiwan. From that humble start, she has played nationally, internationally and won many awards,. She is presently studying for her doctorate at Columbia University..
 Food was then served and candidate Garrett took the time to chat with the some 25 people that attended. A very interested audience, most were members of the Taiwanese Church group in Fairlawn. Some of them were no stranger to me as we had traveled on the bus to Washington, DC for a protest when the Chinese president had arrived. See our back pages for the story. Mike's daughter Christina was also there to assist her father.

Mr. Garrett then addressed the group giving a brief summary of what he hoped to achieve if reelected. He explained the hazards of incumbents, that they sometimes lost seats due to political changes. He hopes to overcome that!
