Heralded by the New York Times as “fast, funny, unapologetically silly” and “affectionately amusing,” “I Hate Hamlet” is a stage comedy about disillusioned television star, Andrew Rally who is left without work or many prospects, save for the daunting task of playing Hamlet on stage. Less than enthused about playing a role he deems too complex for casual audiences, Rally is visited by the ghost of John Barrymore—who appears in full Hamlet costume—and is inspired to put forth his best performance yet, playing Prince Hamlet.
