The “In the Spotlight†program at the Paramus Public Library highlights a new travel film each month. November’s destination is Canada, a "a land that listens...steeped in eternal beauty, crystalline waters and woods." In the film, viewers are invited to explore Canada's diversity of culture and landscape, from the snow-swept Arctic tundra to Vancouver's seaport.
They will glimpse centuries old architecture in Montreal, meet baby harp seals near Prince Edward Island, relish in the beauty of the magnificent Candian Rockies, and enjoy quaint Old Quebec City while they revel in it's Winter Carnival.
The film will be shown at the main library, 116 E. Century Road in Paramus on Monday, November 20th at 12:30pm. This program is free of charge, open to the public and requires no advance registration. Light refreshments will be served. For more information, please call 201/599-1300.
