Interactive Global Holiday Celebration Presented by Cotton Incorporated
Debuts November 17th at Westfield Garden State Plaza
Paramus, NJ – Westfield Garden State Plaza announced today its debut of Westfield’s Holiday Adventure, a unique global holiday celebration experience for shoppers this season. Beginning November 17th, the new experience introduces an enchanting and interactive new holiday adventure for the entire family. Cotton Incorporated will be the presenting sponsor of this new holiday experience at Westfield Garden State Plaza.
Rich with holiday spirit, this experience transports guests to holiday celebrations around the world. Life-sized walk-through storybooks will immerse visitors with the sights and sounds of holiday celebrations across the globe. As part of the holiday storybook adventure, interactive maps allow visitors to hear holiday greetings in native languages from countries worldwide. Plus, the stories will change every year in these life-size books, so that the experience will be new and different each holiday season.
“With the evolution from the traditional Santa set, we are taking holiday decor to the next level -- celebrating the holiday spirit from around the world,†said Todd Putman, Westfield’s Executive Vice President of Marketing. “Designed to be made new and fresh every year, Westfield is investing in a magnificent new holiday experience for children of all ages to enjoy.â€
Westfield’s Holiday Adventure will also include a lush holiday village filled with festive lighting, snowflakes, garland and trees. The centerpiece of the village is a 32-foot tall holiday tree, which includes a magnificent light show as well as a simulated snowfall inside the tree for the additional “magic†of a winter wonderland. Santa will also be nearby ready for those special holiday photos.
Westfield’s Holiday Adventure was designed and produced by Becker Group. "In our brainstorming sessions, both companies felt that a celebration of the different cultures and communities around the world would best represent the holiday spirit we wanted to share,†said Glenn Tilley, President, Becker Group. “The holidays are about coming together and making memories. This experience allows visitors to be participants in a wonderful global celebration.â€
“As people all over the world enjoy and rely on the warmth, comfort and style of cotton throughout the holidays and the new year, partnering with Westfield Garden State Plaza on this global holiday experience was a perfect match for us,†said Paula Rosario, Vice President of Consumer Marketing – Strategic Alliances for Cotton Incorporated.
