The Paramus Library's monthly travel film series, "In the Spotlight", features "Touring America's Ghost Towns" on Monday, January 15 at 12:30pm. The film features a collection of anecdotes and history when, with the race West for gold and mining, towns sprang up overnight with prospectors, hustlers, gamblers and outlaws. When they moved on, left behind were empty buildings and silent streets. Many of these ghost towns are still standing -- some deserted, and others too alive to qualify as "dead." The film is free and open to all. Light refreshments are served. Seating is on a first come basis. The library is located at 116 E. Century Blvd. For more information, please call 201-599-1300.
