Read Across America
Friday, March 2, 2007
Ridge Ranch School students enjoyed a visit from many guest readers, including Paramus Mayor James Tedesco, Dr. Janice Dime - Superintendent of Schools and Paramus Police Officer Cheryl Avagnano – this was the 10th year of celebrating Read Across America at Ridge Ranch School.
Linda Galgano from Barnes and Noble read two books that day according to the classroom teacher - the name of one book was: Dr. Seuss "I Can Read with My Eyes Shut." The title of the other book was Move Over Rover by Karen Beaumont.. The children enjoyed joining in the choral reading by saying "Move Over Rover!" during the reading by Ms. Galgano
