Bergen to Host Free Business Seminar on Communication Skills

The Bergen Community College Center for Business and Industry, in partnership with the Bergen County Workforce Investment Board, is hosting a free business seminar titled “Flexing Your Own Communication Style to Get Better Results”—led by Heather Clarke-Peckerman, M.A., C.E.C., President of HPC Consulting Group—on Friday, April 13, 2007, from 8:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., at the Moses Family Meeting and Training Center (TEC-128) at Bergen Community College, 400 Paramus Rd., Paramus, NJ.

An organizational development consultant with over thirteen years of management experience, Heather Clarke-Peckerman will speak about harnessing the power of whole-brain thinking to improve productivity, creativity and fulfillment. An expert trainer and presenter, Ms. Clarke-Peckerman has developed training programs covering areas such as leadership time management, conflict resolution and communication skills. She has consulted for corporations, municipalities, and colleges and has been certified as an Executive Coach by the Institute for Professional Empowerment Coaching.

The Center for Business and Industry is part of the Division of Continuing Education at Bergen Community College.
