Soma at Paramus Park
Lauren, and Minnie, did their best to put me at ease while I was conducting the interview. Not being an expert in bra fitting, Lauren proceeded to explain to me what their shop was about and why. Originally connected with Chico’s, Soma was launched in 2004 as a separate endeavor with the goal of providing women with stylish, comfortable and perfect fitting intimate apparel, , sleep wear, relaxation wear and active wear, designed to suit every body and every lifestyle.
She explained that 75% of the females wear the wrong size bra. Soma’s aim is comfort and not décolletage, ease of wear, not an overt sexy display. The side straps have to be horizontal. The top straps comfortable and not sliding or cutting into the shoulder. Their bra experts are trained Fit Experts ready to help women find the perfect bra and act
as their liaison to the ultimate “Soma Experience.”
I asked Minnie Adams about the shop, how Paramus Park selected them and her personal opinion. Minnie remarked that she relished a shop like this in a mall that caters to the working woman and mothers. Her face lit up when Lauren offered her a fitting by their Fit Experts and Minnie later commented. “My experience was wonderful. Lauren is terrific and makes everyone feel special.” This pretty Mall Manager should know.
