Once again, 4th of July Chairman Rich Siniscalchi came through with a terrific line up of people, organizations and businesses in town. Once again, www.paramusPost.com was on the job taking pictures of the floats and the people who were watching the parade. We are proud to announce that Reverend Sam Stone, our publisher, was asked to do the Invocation.

At the last minute, just a week before the parade, www.ParamusPost.com arranged to ride with Dr. Michael Yeun so that we could take the pictures of the spectators. Dr. Yeun, my Dentist and friend, offered his car and also had Christina, his daughter, covering one side of the parade taking pictures. He was able to promote his interest in Taiwan, one of his passions. Very interesting, we had the two Stone girls, Cassie and Christy, in our vehicle. Cassie poked her head through the sunroof and proudly waved the American flag.

We were near Freeholder Chairman Tomas Padilla waiting for the parade to begin. I approached to tell him about our fabulous fireworks video. Seeing the www.ParamusPost.com golf shirt I was wearing, he remarked that we had a very nice website. Mr. Padilla went on to thank me for the nice things we said about him when we covered the Freeholder Installation.

My quick rejoinder: ‘That’s because I didn’t know you better!’ He doubled over in laughter!
