Chief Ferguson
After a grueling day, Paramus Department Chief Tim Ferguson had a chance to relax and cool off at the Paramus Pool. During the day Chief Ferguson directed his entire department and numerous mutual aid companies at the scene of a house fire. The efforts were hampered by the heat of the day and the location of the fire. Numerous mutual aid units were sent to the scene to relieve the fireman due to the heat related issues.

As luck would have it, the Paramus Pool Commission had designated Monday night as Emergency Services Night at the Paramus Pool. Local restaurants and businesses contributed food to the event, a local DJ provided entertainment, and the pool remained open after hours to accommodate the members of the Fire Department, Rescue Squad and Ambulance Corp.

Hot weather and a long hard day at the fire scene made this event even more appreciated.
