(NRDC) recently announced a lease signing with LA Fitness, one of the Nation’s leading fitness center providers, as a tenant in its 385,000 square feet CooperTowne Center property in Somerdale, NJ. LA Fitness will occupy 43,000 square feet of this redevelopment project formerly known as Lions Head Plaza, joining Wal-Mart Supercenter and a Cinemark 16-Plex movie theatre as anchor tenants.
“The addition of a premier national health and fitness facility like LA Fitness to the mix at CooperTowne Center supports our vision for this property as a true Town Center and Community Destination,” said John G. Orrico, President, NRDC. “With a Wal-Mart Supercenter, state-of-the-art Cinemark movie theatre and now LA Fitness serving as anchor tenants for the property, CooperTowne Center will generate an immediate and positive consumer approval from the surrounding area upon its opening.”
Located in Somerdale, NJ at the intersection of White Horse Pike at East Evesham Avenue in Camden County, and minutes from Echelon Mall and the Philadelphia Speed Line, CooperTowne Center is scheduled to open in the Fall of 2008.
