DMR Architects, one of the largest and most respected full-service architectural firms in the New York/New Jersey metropolitan region, has announced that they are about to commence construction for a Head Start facility for Bergen County Community Action Partnership, Inc. The project is located in Garfield, New Jersey

“DMR Architects feels strongly about working with Bergen County Community Action Partnership because of all they do to help individuals of impoverished backgrounds better themselves and their situations,” stated Lloyd Rosenberg, president, CEO and founder of DMR Architects. “The Head Start Program provides free services to low-income pre-school children and their families. This is such an important organization and a great asset to the Bergen County community.”

The project will include an interior and exterior renovation of an existing 11,000 square-foot office and warehouse space. The end result will be an early childhood school, which will serve as the home of the Head Start Program. The school will include classrooms, play areas, offices, parent lounges, kitchen(s) and restrooms. The project has received approval from the planning board and completion is expected for early 2008.
