Interior Design Open House at Bergen Community College, 9/11/2007

Bergen Community College’s Division of Continuing Education will offer a free Interior Design Open House on Tuesday, September 11, 2007 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Moses Family Meeting and Training Center (TEC - 128), 400 Paramus Road, Paramus, NJ. A panel of instructors will be in attendance to give specialized information about careers in Interior Design and about the Interior Design Certificate Program offered at Bergen. The event is open to the public but reservations are recommended. To reserve a seat, please call Ria Bloss in the Division of Continuing Education at 201-447-7466.
Interior Design is currently one of the fastest growing professions and skilled designers are in demand. The highly specialized Interior Design Certificate Program at Bergen has been created to train students and assist them with career advancement and career changes, as well as to offer personal and professional enrichment. Certificate Program participants will complete the following eight core courses: Principles of Interior Design; Visual Concepts; Business Procedures; Interior Lighting; Basic Drafting; History of Decorative Arts; Materials, Finishes and Sources and Color for Interiors. Bergen Community College is a public two-year coeducational college, enrolling more than 14,000 students in Associate in Arts, Associate in Science, and Associate in Applied Science degree programs and certificate programs.
