Teen Creative Writing Contest at Paramus Library

 To celebrate "Teen Read Week", the Paramus Public Library is sponsoring "LOL @Your Library", a creative writing contest for teens.

Open to all Paramus residents and students attending Paramus schools, ages 13-18, the contest's theme is "LOL (Laugh Out Loud) @ Your Library". All entries must be original works, between 300-500 words, in either essay or short story format. Entries must be typed, double spaced in Times New Roman font, size 12. Submissions may be brought to the Paramus Main Public Library (116 E. Century Rd.) or the Reid Branch Library (239 W. Midland Ave.), or can be e-mailed to youth@paramuslibrary.org in a Word .doc format. The submission deadline is September 30. The Grand Prize entry will be published in the Oct. 17 issue of the Town News. The winner will also receive a $50 Visa check card.
