Garden State Harmonica Club Meeting Oct. 26th

The Garden State Harmonica Club monthly meeting will be held October 26, 2007 at 7:30 pm in the Main Hall of the Knights of Columbus, 105 Grove Avenue (off Maywood Avenue), Maywood, NJ. Business meetings are regularly on the 4th Friday of the month except in July and August when they are suspended.

The Club invites anyone interested in the harmonica or harmonica music to join the group to play or listen after the short business meeting. Light refreshments are available to attendees during the meeting. Among the celebrity members are Phil Caltabellotta, Shelly Lulov and Tom Scerbo who make up the Society Boys Trio, a nationally famous group (www.societyboys.com), Daddy “T” (Charlie Toker), Frank Grova, Don Hayek (of the Center Street Combo) and Dan Bauch.

The Garden State Harmonica Club Ensemble can be booked to play for groups for a small donation. They entertain at retirement and veterans’ homes, churches, clubs, assisted living centers, civic groups, etc., several times a month. The Garden State Harmonica Club was founded in 1971 to promote the enjoyment of the harmonica. Anyone with similar interests is invited to meetings for their pleasure.
