SAVE PARAMUS WETLANDS

Update
Election Day has passed and we would like to thank those of you who took the time to vote. Unfortunately our local open space referendum did not pass. We were pleased to learn that the question pertaining to Green Acres funding (ballot question #3) did pass. Hopefully this will help combat over-development and protect open space in Paramus, Bergen County, and across the State.
We have learned that the Borough of Paramus has completed and submitted a Green Acres application in reference to the Soldier Hill property. Hopefully adequate funding will be approved so as this 35+ acre parcel of environmentally sensitive land can be acquired and protected.
We are hoping that the protection of wetlands, open space, and pristine property remains a top priority. We will continue to do our best to promote this important issue on the local, county, and state levels and encourage others to do the same. We will keep up the fight as we believe that this property must be saved and maintained as open space. We thank you for your continued efforts and support and ask that you never give up!
All the best for a happy and healthy Thanksgiving season,
Mark & Ed
