On Friday, November 9, 2007, The Horizon Foundation for New Jersey presented a check in the amount of $10,000 to Paramus-based nonprofit agency Children’s Aid and Family Services to support its Life Arts Program that promotes healing for severely abused and abandoned children through music, dance and fine arts.
Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey also presented a check in the amount of $12,000 to Children’s Aid and Family Services as part of its Touchdowns for Families program that supports the agency’s mission to find homes for abused and neglected children in New Jersey.
As part of its Touchdowns for Families program, Horizon BCBSNJ will donate $500.00 to the agency for every touchdown the New York Giants score in the 2007-8 season. If the New York Giants make the NFL post season, Horizon BCBSNJ will increase its donation to $1,000.00 for each touchdown scored. If the Giants make the Super Bowl, Horizon BCBSNJ will increase its donation to $2,500.00 for each touchdown scored.
