The Crabgrass Puppet Theatre will spread holiday cheer with "Mr. Punch's Christmas Carol" at Bergen Community College on Saturday, December 15, 2007, at 3:00 p.m. in the Anna Maria Ciccone Theatre at Bergen Community College, 400 Paramus Road, Paramus. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for children (17 and under) and are available by calling 201-447-7428. Seating is reserved so advanced ticket purchase is recommended.
A classic tale with all the trimmings, "Mr. Punch's Christmas Carol" features whimsical scenery, a traditional soundtrack of holiday favorites and three kinds of puppets - hand, rod and shadow - which are sure to capture the spirit of the season. Told through the story's colorful characters and ornately-created puppets, there's no room for "bah humbug" here!
Celebrating 25 years of magic, the Crabgrass Puppet Theatre performs for over 100,000 guests each year. Throughout its history, the talented group has appeared in many regional, national and international puppet festivals.
The performance is part of Bergen Community College's "This & That from Here & There" Performing Arts series. For ticket information or for a full schedule of events, please call Bergen's Office of Community and Cultural Affairs at 201-447-7428 or visit them on the Web at www.bergen.edu/cca
