Chelsea Palermo, a live performance at Borders

Chelsea  Friday, November 23rd at Borders was the first scheduled appearance of Chelsea Palermo's debut release for her CD All About Love. Accompanied by Comoko Ono at the Yamaha keyboard, this perky young lady offered a wide range of songs with different tempos.

Arriving early, I was able to get a front row seat at the Borders coffee shop area where Chelsea appeared. She performed a myriad of songs including many from All About Love.
When she finally did take a break, Chelsea came over to my table for a chat. We discussed music and her past performances which include: the Stone Pony and her appearances at Drumthwacket, The NJ Governor's mansion, for the annual promotion of DARE. I suggested to Chelsea that she might contact Nick DeMauro, the head of NJ DARE and perhaps sing at the DARE Carnival held every June in the Westfield Garden State Plaza Shopping Center.

Her frenetic Borders schedule includes 8 PM Friday night appearances at Fort Lee (11/30) Riverdale( 12/7) and 2 PM New York appearances Mt Kisco, Sunday 12/9. White Plains Saturday 12/15 and Scarsdale Sunday 12/16.
