Cherish the Ladies Celtic Concert at Bergen, 12-22

Celebrate the holidays with the Cherish the Ladies Irish music and dance ensemble at Bergen Community College on Saturday, December 22, 2007, at 7:30 p.m. in the Anna Maria Ciccone Theatre at Bergen Community College, 400 Paramus Road, Paramus. Tickets are $24 for adults, $22 for students and senior citizens (65+) and are available by calling 201-447-7428. Seating is reserved so advanced ticket purchase is recommended.
Cherish the Ladies, a traditional Irish jig, doubles as the name of one of the most well-known Irish music and dance ensembles in the entire world. With their spectacular blend of instruments, vocals, arrangements and stunning step dancing, this powerhouse group combines all the facets of Irish traditional culture in an immensely humorous and entertaining package.
Recently, the Ladies have been traveling the world, performing in the finest concert halls and winning numerous awards. They have shared the stage with such noted entertainers as James Taylor, Joan Baez, Emmy Lou Harris, The Clancy Brothers, Tommy Makem, The Chieftains and dozens of symphony orchestras. The Ladies also have recorded seven CDs and appeared on many television shows.
