ST. JOSEPH STUDENTS SUPPORT HACKENSACK UNIVERSITY MEDICAL CENTER’S HOLIDAY OUTREACH PROGRAM

The National Junior Beta Club of St. Joseph School in Oradell held a school-wide collection of food and toiletries to benefit Hackensack University Medical Center’s (HUMC) organization-wide holiday outreach program - Sharing with our Community.

The goal of the medical center’s effort was to help the working poor by providing much needed items to assist the many families in our community who are less fortunate than us.

The families were identified through the Hackensack Housing Authority and the Hackensack schools. The Housing Authority, along with the City Council and school principals, developed Wish Lists based on each family’s needs. Lauren Giani-Hrablook of Hackensack, administrator of Executive and Medical Staff Services at HUMC and coordinator of the holiday project, accepted the donations on behalf of the medical center.
