Retailing Open House at Bergen, 2/5

Bergen Community College's Division of Continuing Education will offer a free Retailing Open House on Tuesday, February 5, 2008 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., in the Moses Family Meeting and Training Center (Technology Education Center, Room 128), 400 Paramus Road, Paramus. A team of retail experts will discuss "Retail 201," a series of four courses designed to help the independent retailer become more successful and profitable. Those in attendance will learn the techniques used by "the big guys" to create a unique image and shopping experience that draws new customers - and brings them back. "Retail 201" will focus on visual merchandising and store design, merchandising techniques to increase profitability, being a creative merchant and marketing skills designed to make a store a more profitable shopping destination.
