Workplace Diversity Seminar at Bergen, 2/8

Through its Division of Continuing Education, Corporate and Public Sector Training, Bergen Community College and the Bergen County Workforce Investment Board (WIB) will present a free seminar titled "Discovering and Cultivating the Value of Workplace Diversity and the Inclusive Work Arena" on Friday, February 8, 2008 from 8:30 a.m. until noon in the Technology Education Center, Room 128 (The Moses Family Meeting and Training Center) at Bergen Community College, 400 Paramus Road, Paramus. The event is free and open to the public.
Ted. Kochman, Esq. will lead this forum that will highlight the importance and value of maintaining a diverse workplace. He will explain a company's legal requirements regarding diversity and outline the countless benefits of an environment comprised of people from different races, ethnicities, origins and religions. This noted attorney will also present tips on how employers can avoid discrimination and harassment claims.
