Programs Will Honor National Activities Professionals Week, Scheduled for Third Week in January 

The Allendale Community for Mature Living in Allendale, N.J., will be marking National Activities Professionals Week, scheduled for the third week in January, by inviting the public to view and enjoy some of the varied cultural, educational and social programming in which The Allendale Nursing Home residents are involved:

 Thurs., Jan. 24 – All are welcome to attend an Activities Expo, an all-day event that will provide visitors with the opportunity to enjoy a wide array of programs, including Tai Chi and hand/chair massages. There also will be a towel origami display and the community’s pet therapy animals will be visiting. In addition, information regarding Allendale Nursing Home programs, which include concerts, special-interest clubs, lectures, seminars, slide shows, gardening, and so much more will be available. The event will be open to the public from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.

· Friday, Jan. 25 – Residents of The Allendale Nursing Home will display their talents in a Resident Variety Show, starting at 2 p.m.

The Allendale Community for Mature Living is located at 85 Harreton Road, off Route 17 South, in Allendale, N.J., and is comprised of three levels of senior living.
