“Conifers - and other trees -in the Garden”

THE MASTER GARDENERS OF BERGEN COUNTY Present “Conifers - and other trees -in the Garden” With Mark Rohsler
Mark Rohsler, co-owner of Rohsler’s Allendale Nursery will present a special program on “Conifers in the Garden & Other Tree Related Topics” at the February meeting of the Master Gardeners of Bergen County.
Rohsler’s Nursery roots began in 1913 in Garfield, NJ. In the 1920’s the nursery moved to its current location on the Franklin Turnpike in Allendale, NJ, where many of the plants sold in it’s the greenhouses and fields are grown. Mark holds a B.S. in ornamental horticulture from Delaware Valley College and a M.S. degree from the University of Tennessee. He focuses his efforts on providing customers with a vast assortment of top quality woody ornamental plants. He has taught at Bergen Community College and is an instructor at the Bronx Botanical Gardens on conifers, one of his specialties.
The presentation will held be on Tuesday February 26, 2008 at 7:30pm, in the Community Services Building Auditorium, 327 East Ridgewood Avenue, Paramus, NJ. Meetings are open to all, free of charge, and refreshments are served, starting at 7pm.
