The Sinai School, dedicated to educating special needs children and young adults within the Jewish community, will hold its annual benefit dinner on Sunday, February 10 at 4:45 p.m. at the Marriott Glenpointe Hotel, Teaneck. The Sinai School operates programs in several New Jersey Jewish elementary, middle and high schools and supervises two group residences for young adults to learn the skills of independent living.
The Sinai School provides an individualized curriculum for each student. While many children have developmental disabilities such as autism or Down’s Syndrome, Sinai also serves students of above average intelligence who have learning issues not met in a regular classroom. The annual benefit dinner helps defray educational costs, which greatly exceed tuition revenue.
The dinner will honor four couples who have devoted themselves to Sinai’s success: Moshe & Arianne Weinberger (Teaneck), Mark & Nomi Schwartz, (Teaneck), Jason and Chanie Teigman (Englewood) and Carol and Peter Weissman (Fair Lawn).
Dean Laurette Rothwachs promises many special surprises for dinner attendees. For more information or for reservations, visit www.sinaidinner.org.
