Multiple sclerosis strikes in the prime of life, usually between the ages of 15 and 60, and is the most commonly diagnosed neurological disease in young adults. The MS Center at Holy Name Hospital is the only state-licensed, non-profit facility providing healthcare and related services exclusively for MS patients and their families. The Center provides care to all MS patients, regardless of ability to pay, and is financed entirely through patient revenues, grants, contributions, and special events. We are not the National MS Society although commonly misidentified with them. Your support of the MS Center at Holy Name Hospital goes directly towards the care of all those affected by MS.

On Sunday, April 13th, 2008, the MS Center at Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck, NJ will be hosting its 11th Annual Spring Fashion Fling and Luncheon for MS. Once again, it will be held at the Glenpointe Marriott in Teaneck, NJ. We are anticipating approximately 800 attendees with the return of our National Spokesperson, PGA Pro, Brett Massingham and our Honorary Chairperson, Mr. Chris Cimino, WNBC-TV meteorologist and our Keynote Speaker, writer, comedian and MS Advocate, Jonathan Katz. Our guests will be treated to a four-course luncheon and fashion show with fashions provided by Lord & Taylor’s at Garden State Plaza in Paramus, NJ. One of the highlights of the afternoon will be our auction where we plan to offer more than 150 fabulous prizes. Local businesses and friends of the MS Center donate all prizes and 100% of monies raised at this event go directly to patient care and research.
You can support us by making a donation of product or service for our auction, providing merchandise for our goody bags, and/or sending a monetary gift. We also offer an Ad Journal for businesses or friends and Table Sponsorship, which includes 10 event tickets, 1 full-page ad in the Ad Journal and signage at your table. This is a great way to support the MS Center and treat your guests to a great day as well! When you make a donation you will receive a letter acknowledging your gift for tax purposes. In addition, you will be listed in the event program that will be distributed to all guests and donors. The MS Center at Holy Name Hospital is 501(c)(3) tax exempt, and the support of our community is vital for us to continue to provide comprehensive health care to people with MS.

You can mail your contribution directly to the MS Center at the address above, attention of Lisa Futterman. Should you have any questions about this event, or the work that we do, please call me at 201-837-0727, ext. 3899 or email LFutterman1@aol.com. Also, please visit our newly expended website at www.msccc.org for all the latest information regarding our events, upcoming patient meetings and the phenomenal work that we do at the MS Center!
