Concert To Feature Operatic Favorites 
Alexander Korenkov
Enjoy the fusion of opera and Russian romance when internationally renowned performer Alexander Korenkov hosts a free concert on Sun., Feb. 24, at 2 p.m. at The Atrium at The Allendale Community for Mature Living. The award-winning baritone’s performance is being hosted by The Community and sponsored by Affinity Care of North Jersey, a leading provider of professional home health services.
“The Allendale Community is extremely fortunate to host Mr. Korenkov, who is a unique artist committed to engaging every audience member with his technical command and rare voice,” said Mary Stampleman, ADC, Director of Therapeutic Recreation. “We look forward to this special event, which highlights the wealth of cultural and musical programs offered as part of our enriching senior lifestyle at The Atrium.”
A graduate of the Moscow State Conservatory, Korenkov has performed concerts throughout his homeland of Russia and Latvia, as well as Europe. He has been praised as a true talent that takes concert attendees beyond the ordinary to open up their souls. Venues in the United States have included Lincoln Center and the Juilliard School. He also has played numerous roles as a member of the Mariinsky Theater in St. Petersburg and performed at the Opera Theater of Tokyo.
Pre-registration is required for this program, which includes complimentary refreshments and an opportunity to meet Korenkov. The Atrium, which is The Allendale Community’s independent senior living residence, is located at 85 Harreton Road in Allendale, N.J., and is easily accessible from Route 17 South.
