Read Across America

Newly elected Assemblywoman, Connie Wagner enjoys going back to her roots, in the classroom. Being that March is “Read Across America month,” the Assemblywoman got a jump start at the Cliffside Park School #3 reading one of her favorite children books to Mrs. Spino and Mr. Ryan’s 6th grade classroom.

After reading, the youths had the opportunity to ask questions and they did have a wide variety of poignant questions such as, “How did you get to this position?”, “Did you like school growing up?”, “Where did you grow up?”, and “What are your goals in life?” And Assemblywoman shared with the children her answers and feelings on all of their questions, she felt it was very refreshing to get ideas from the youths who are going to be our future.
