Acting Couple to Present Original Dramatization at The Atrium
Actors/writers William and Sue Wills return to The Atrium at The Allendale Community for Mature Living with a presentation on Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt as part of their annual series, “Portraits of Presidents and their First Ladies, dramatically speaking.” The show, which is free and open to the public, will be held on Friday, April 11 at 2 p.m. in the Atrium Lobby. The supportive independent senior residence is located at 85 Harreton Road, off Route 17 South.
The Wills have been touring the U.S. for more than 12 years, bringing their uncanny and enlightening portrayals of presidents and their first ladies to over 7,000 audiences to date. They research each subject thoroughly, write the original scripts and design their own costumes. The actors are frequent entertainers at The Atrium, which offers a broad range of cultural and educational programs throughout the year, which are open to the general public.
“This is one of our most popular programs at The Atrium,” explained Mary Stampleman, ADC, Director of Therapeutic Recreation. “The Wills’ presentation last year of James and Dolley Madison was a big hit with our residents and guests, and we encourage area seniors to join us for this program.”
Due to the popularity of this event, advance reservations are requested; please call Mary Stampleman at (201) 818-7979.
