The Northern New Jersey Region of Hadassah's Young Women/Young Leaders and Associates recently held a "Laugh & Learn" event. Novelist, Joshua Henkin, spoke about his book, Matrimony, which was awarded "One of 100 Notable Books by the New York Times." Ellyn Lyons, the National Chair for Hadassah College Jerusalem gave an overview of the college and introduced the students who spoke.

Hadassah, the Women’s Zionist Organization of America, was founded in 1912 by Henrietta Szold. In 1927, the Northern New Jersey Region of Hadassah was formed.
