Paramus resident and Shade Tree & Parks Commission volunteer Rueben Abella recently completed CORE Training.
CORE training is required for municipal volunteers when their community has an approved Community Forestry Management Plan.
This, along with other training requirements, affords Paramus immunity from liability in tree related incidents. Mr. Abella reported at the last Board Meeting on March 4, that he was not only impressed with the quality of the program but that he was afforded the opportunity to see the true benefits of community trees in Paramus.
