When Reverend Sam Stone heard me say that I would never think to intrude by going to church service on Easter Sunday, he remonstrated and urged me to attend. Thus came about a very delightful visit to a church adorned for the holiday. Starting out the church service was the Bell Choir playing 'Morning has Broken'.

Flowers surrounded the pulpit and a long list of donors was listed within the day's Order of Worship. Even more surprising was seeing my friend Mike Dennehy wearing a tie. When I mentioned it to him, he confided that it had been so long, he had forgotten how to tie one. He was busy collating the programs at the time.

Most of the attendees had their Easter finery on which matched the festive air of the church interior. Even the Order of Worship pamphlet was colorful.

In addition Reverend Stone had the Children's Time portrayed on the giant screen as each youngster spoke. The amplification of sound and sight helped the audience to participate. The packed house and the extra cars, the parking lot was also filled. My 'Official Photographer' Clarence Stone was there so I asked him to take some pictures for this article. These are enhanced by shots from my camera phone.

Going to church on Easter Sunday was a joyous and fulfilling experience, especially at Trinity Presbyterian Church.
