"Palisades Amusement Park: A Century of Fond Memories" is the title of a talk given by author and executive director of the Palisades Amusement Park Historical Society, Vince Gargiulo at the Paramus Public Library on Sunday, April 27th at 2:00pm.

The talk will cover all the amazing and nostalgic features of what was once one of the America's most famous fun centers. High atop the Palisades cliffs in the boroughs of Cliffside Park and Fort Lee, the Palisades Amusement Park opened in 1898 and was the home of the famous Cyclone roller coaster, the Tunnel of Love, and the world’s largest outdoor saltwater pool. Even today, several decades after it closed in 1971, the park is warmly remembered. Even for those who never visited the park, this talk is sure to re-create the thrills, laughter, and joy that was Palisades. This event is free and open to the public with first-come seating available. The library is also featuring a collection of Mr. Gargiulo's Palisades Amusement Park memorabilia on its walls and in its display case. The Paramus Public Library is located at 116 E. Century Rd.
