April 2008 Mayor and Council Meeting
Mayor Tedesco must have read www.ParamusPost.com's coverage of the abbreviated meeting last month. This meeting, although it covered a lot of ground was over within an hour. Tom LoCicero congratulated the Council on making headway into the Towing Ordinance.
He and others questioned the maze of the Borough website in trying to find specific information. One of the explanations, regarding the towing committee pointed out that since Councilman Niland is in charge, it would be located under his name.
Mayor Tedesco announced that the Paramus Passport Program has been expanded. It is now possible for an applicant to have the complete process including pictures at the Boro Hall. At the end of April, Monday evenings will also be made available for this service. He stressed that passports have become a vital part of our identification material.
The Paramus Recreation Wrestlers appeared and Tedesco, Council President Frank Ciambrone and Councilman Mike Blitzstein handed out the commendations. Some of these young men were state champions.
