Over $187,000 was awarded to 104 Bergen Community College students during the Bergen Community College Foundation’s eighth annual Scholarship Awards ceremony on April 30. A separate 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the Foundation raises funds to support student scholarships, faculty and staff development, construction and other special projects and programs. Since its 1982 inception, the Foundation has received over $9.8 million in total contributions

Amna Khan – Ciarco Family Foundation Endowed Scholarship (Awarded to students with a 3.0 minimum GPA); Wilton T. Barney Memorial Scholarship (Awarded to Bergen County residents and future Bergen Community College students who have demonstrated school and community involvement in civil, social or volunteer work and a 2.8 minimum GPA).
