    Rabbi Jamie Korngold to appear in New Jersey

    Rabbi Jamie Korngold, a native of Scarsdale, is coming to New Jersey to promote her new book GOD IN THE WILDERNESS (Doubleday: On-sale April 8th, 2008). In 2001, Rabbi Jamie Korngold created the ground-breaking Adventure Rabbi program to help people recapture their spirituality and reconnect with their Jewish values by finding God in nature. Since then she has taken hundreds of people on unconventional adventure trips such as Shabbat skiing and Rosh Hashanah hiking.

    In her new book, Korngold explores how our ancestors found God not within the walls of a church or synagogue but all around them in the great outdoors and reveals how we can do the same even in our hectic modern world.

    Rabbi Korngold will be appearing in New Jersey on Friday May 16th:
