A very large carnival operated by Amusements of America opened Thursday evening May 29th. It will continue there until Saturday, June 7th. A change from the past, the entrance is located close to Route 4 at the far end of the parking lot. This is a major fundraiser for D.A.R.E. and the Borough of Paramus. It's also a lot of fun for everyone!
With a massive display of rides, they also have all kinds of food, zeppole, sausage, hot dogs, pizza, cotton candy and candy apples among the mix. The Paramus Fire Department has a tent set up where they offer hotdogs and soda manned by our volunteer fire department.
There are all kinds of rides for adults, family and youngsters. A Ferris wheel, horror house, kiddy rides and games of skill are available.
