With a fear of inclement weather, Paramus Cultural Council Chairperson Valerie Coniglio had to make an executive decision. Concerned with the welfare of the people who attend, she prevailed upon the IBEW Local 164 to offer their training center for the night's entertainment. In the past that arrangement has worked out well; it didn't this time.Our Sophie Stone was set to cover Kenny Vance and the Planotones while Mel Fabrikant covered the Mayor and Council Meeting. When she arrived, she was turned away from the assembly because of over capacity. The Cultural Council presentations have had more than double the crowd of last year.
It was a shame because the Planotones deserve the coverage that www.ParamusPost.com offers. Sophie took some pictures of the outside area to show that she was not the only one disappointed.
