Insurance Covers All Expenses After Co-Pay and Deductible
The Allendale Nursing Home & Rehabilitation Center at The Allendale Community for Mature Living has now been approved as a provider for the Aetna insurance plan.
“This designation is a testament to our service,” noted Steven Missaggia, Director of Nursing at The Allendale Nursing Home & Rehabilitation Center. “It means that individuals who have Aetna insurance policies will have access to our 24-hour skilled nursing care and rehabilitation services as needed for sub-acute and long-term care. All they will have to pay is the pre-arranged co-pay and deductible, per their policy.”
Aetna was recently selected by FORTUNE Magazine as the most admired company in the “Health Care: Insurance and Managed Care” category for 2008. One of the nation’s leading diversified health care benefits companies, Aetna serves approximately 36.7 million people and offers a broad range of traditional and consumer-directed health insurance products and related services.
The Allendale Nursing Home & Rehabilitation Center is a fully licensed health care facility. In addition to long-term, hospice and rehabilitative care, the Center offers an array of social, recreational and therapeutic programs designed to maximize residents’ capabilities and enhance daily living.
The Center is already Medicare certified. The addition of Aetna approval makes Allendale’s high-caliber, compassionate, skilled nursing and rehabilitative services available to an even broader population.
“The care we provide is consistently of the highest quality, regardless of what kind of insurance coverage the individual has, whether it be a government or private provider as well as our private pay long-term residents,” Missaggia pointed out.
The 120-bed nursing facility was opened in 1967. The newest service addition, the Rehabilitation Center, was part of a comprehensive renovation and refurbishment project last year. The Center provides vital speech, occupational and physical therapy services to people of all ages who have recently been discharged from an acute care hospital after suffering an injury or are recovering from an illness or surgical procedure.
The Allendale Community, approved by the State of New Jersey as a continuing care provider, also includes Carlton Court, opened in 1972 as one of New Jersey’s first licensed assisted living residences, and The Atrium, built in 1989 as an upscale supportive independent senior living residence.
The Nursing Home & Rehabilitation Center features large, spacious rooms with cable television, telephone service and climate controls for each standard or private room. Recently upgraded community spaces include the entrance lobby with an attractive seating area, indoor plantings and an interior fountain. In addition to the Nursing Home renovations, all aspects of the Allendale Community are continually upgraded to provide state-of-the-art services and amenities.
