Metropolitan Klezmer, a Yiddish-inspired musical group, will bring their unique act to Bergen Community College on Sunday, October 26, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. in the Anna Maria Ciccone Theatre, 400 Paramus Road, Paramus. Tickets are $14 for general admission and $12 for students and senior citizens (65+).
Featuring Yiddish folk, swing and show tune music, Metropolitan Klezmer has entertained audiences for over a decade. With multiple CDs to their credit and energy to spare, the group will continue to honor the tradition of Yiddish music – and craft their own legacy in the mean time.
The performance is part of Bergen Community College’s “This & That from Here & There” Performing Arts Series. For ticket information or for a full schedule of events, please call Bergen’s Office of Community and Cultural Affairs at (201) 447-7428 or visit them on the Web at www.bergen.edu/cca
