American Is Building The Jefferson, Its Third Condominium Community in Ewing
Properties Realty has recently been named a "Partner in Education" by the Ewing Public School District in Mercer County, N.J.
The honorable distinction is given to local and global businesses that provide incentives and motivation towards the district's goal of academic and social excellence. Ewing School District Superintendent Raymond Broach presented Paul Csik, senior vice president of American Properties Realty, with the award during an Oct. 21 luncheon at Antonio's in Ewing, where Mayor Jack Ball also gave an address.
"We feel very strongly that the education system is the foundation of a community and as a family-owned business, we want to continue to support children and teachers in public schools - especially where we do business," said Csik. "We feel that it is our duty to give back to the community that has welcomed us and serves as a home for our buyers."
American Properties Realty is building The Jefferson, its third residential community in the township. Its other successful residential communities include Scotch Run and The Madison.
The Iselin, N.J.-based company also built the business hotel, Courtyard Marriott on Scotch Road in 2004, and is building the Element Hotel by Westin, which is slated to open next fall.
"Having this corporate involvement with the Ewing Public Schools offers academic enrichment for our students," said Superintendent Broach. "The students and staff, as well as the community benefit greatly from this program."
"Partners in Education" donate their time and grants to the schools to offer programs that will help students grow academically and personally.
The Jefferson, a new premier condominium community in Ewing, recently celebrated its grand opening. Once complete, The Jefferson will be a fabulous community set within 10 minutes of Princeton, making it an ideal residence for young professionals and first-time buyers.
"American, for sure, is an outstanding neighbor as far as Ewing Township is concerned. The company has pledged $60,000 to our education foundation in Ewing over the past four years," said Mayor Jack Ball. "The money has been used to build an outdoor learning classroom for our Antheil Elementary School, upgrade our locker facilities at Ewing High School and provide general grant distributions for teachers throughout the district for enhanced innovative and creative programming."
The development is comprised of 10 distinct three-story buildings featuring two bedrooms, two bathrooms and up to 1,635 square feet of living space. All of the condominium homes are equipped with desirable features such as Formica laminate countertops in the kitchen and master bathroom, Mid-Continent 42-inch oak cabinetry, soaring 9-foot ceilings, Dal ceramic tile in both bathrooms, security system with intercom and private balcony or terrace.
The Jefferson Clubhouse, slated to open in January, offers a state-of-the-art fitness center with treadmills, stair climbers, stationary bikes, free weights and lifting machines and a magnificent club room with a lounge area, fireplace and kitchen. The grounds will be professionally landscaped and the streetscapes will be lined with trees. An outdoor pool, a bocce ball court and a playground also will be available for residents' leisure.
Prices for the two bedroom residences begin at $209,990, with occupancy expected to begin in late 2008. A $10,000 incentive is also currently being offered. Purchasers should speak with a sales associate for additional details and restrictions. Qualified first-time home buyers are also eligible for federal tax credits of up to $7,500.
To visit The Jefferson's sales office, take Interstate 95 south to Exit 4 toward Route 31 South/Pennington Road. Once on Route 31 South/Pennington Road stay in right lane and go through first traffic light. Turn right onto Charles Ewing Boulevard (corporate complex).
