Dec. 2: Paramus Sunrise Rotary Club Will Host Presentation by Borst

Topics Will Include Curb Appeal and Snow Removal

Anyone trying to sell a home or improve the quality and appeal of their property – both private and commercial – will benefit from attending the December 2 meeting of the Paramus Sunrise Rotary Club. Guest speaker Mike Cioffi of Borst Landscape & Design will present tips on topics ranging from improving curb appeal to providing environmentally-friendly snow removal.
The Paramus Sunrise Rotary Club meets every Tuesday morning from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. at IBEW Local 164 Training Academy, located at 65 W. Century Road in Paramus. Most Rotary Club meetings are reserved for members only, however, this program will be open to the public, as part of the Club’s mission to provide service to the community. The Club is part of a worldwide association of Rotary Clubs whose motto is “Service Above Self,” aiming to advance world understanding, goodwill and peace through its fellowship of business, professional and community leaders.

Enhancing curb appeal can provide an edge for those trying to sell a home in this tough real estate market. Improving the landscape of a commercial property is also key to maintaining corporate image and creating a safe and inviting work environment. Borst, an award-winning full-service landscaping firm located in Allendale, provides services to more than 500 private and commercial properties throughout northern New Jersey.

This past year, the firm launched a Snow Management division, providing commercial snow removal services to office, retail, multifamily and industrial properties. As a leader in the snow and ice management industry, Borst feels very strongly about using safe practices for snow removal and products like Magic Salt, which are less corrosive to the hardscape, as well as curbside lawn, plants and shrubs.
