Care Plus Foundation Schedules Its Annual Indoor Tennis Benefit

The Care Plus Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to building a brighter world for those suffering with a mental illness, will host its annual Indoor Tennis Benefit on Sunday, January 4, 2009. The Maywood Tennis Club at 263 W. Passaic Street, Maywood, NJ has generously volunteered its 7 courts for this evening of fun. The event, which runs from 5 to 8 pm, will raise funds to help Care Plus clients build a better life for themselves and their families.
Family hour will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. We invite kids and their parents to take advantage of the court time to polish up their game. Children can play with or without their parents, but parents must supervise all children under 16.
One hour of court time for adults is $25, children 12 years and under are $10. Admission includes food and beverages, a raffle and a fun time for all.
“Whatever your tennis ability, there are many ways to support the event: as a player, a sponsor, spectator, or by making a pledge,“ said Tara Augustine, Care Plus Foundation Executive Director. “Please join our team and help us provide scholarships, supportive housing and medication assistance to our clients.”
Hourly court times will be reserved for 5:00 pm, 6:00 pm or 7:00 pm - as reservations are received.
